Braemar is a lovely little village set in the heart of the Cairngorm National park. braemar is known for some of the hottest temperatures in summer months in the UK and the coldest in the winter making it a great place for outdoor persuits. There is ski-ing and snowboarding at Glenshee just 15 miles away. Stunning scenery and abundance wildlife to be enjoyed all year round on the many walks in the area. Braemar hosts the famous Highland games in September which is also attended by the queen. It also has has 2 Castles, 18 hole golfcourse, a range of shops and plenty options to dine out. There is also a Childs playpark and the duckpond.
